Everyone likes Job Boards, but we wanted to make a fully-integrated “Job Portal” that everyone would LOVE! We feel that it’s all about simplicity and ease. Nobody likes spending hours, applying for jobs at multiple companies, filling out the same information a hundred times, do they? We sure don’t. That’s why we decided to consolidate all of the jobs under one roof.
Create an account, fill out your details, then upload your resume. All you need to do, is make sure it is up-to-date, and our “One-Click” Application Process will take care of the rest.
Additionally, we like the more personal touch. Join us at our Recruiter Events and meet the Recruiters in person! We also have monthly meetup events through VanCG Meetup. Join us for some social networking, and ask any questions you like!

For Artists looking for jobs – No.
We only charge Employers for posting jobs on this site, so if you are looking for a career, it’s absolutely free. Every aspect, including the portfolio section is, and always will be, completely free for all artists.
Yes! We regularly have Recruiter Events through VanCG Meetup in Vancouver and New Westminster, which gives you the opportunity to hear from the recruiters, meet them in person, and ask as many questions as you would like!
Keep an eye on out on the VanCG Meetup page for upcoming events!
We have partnered with The Network Hub and some of the top software companies in VFX to bring you official VFX and Artist training workshops! Companies like Adobe, Autodesk, The Foundry, SideFX, Pixologic and many more will be coming to town to do one-day workshops!
Check out the Digital Hub Calendar for upcoming training Workshops and Events!
If you need more comprehensive training, contact us and we can go over what you wish to accomplish, and help you get in touch with some of the local VFX and 3D schools!
You may have noticed the option to create multiple Profiles under your Candidate Dashboard. This is for a simple reason – it allows you to apply for multiple job types with a modified resumé, different relevant experience and training, demo reel video, etc. Some artists may have multiple skills and might not want to apply for a position with a generic profile.
For example, you are a Compositor. You have a wonderful compositing reel, experience as a roto and comp artist for a few different companies, but you also have experience doing Particle Simulations. You most likely would want to use a separate profile with your Houdini FX reel and previous relevant experience if you were applying for an FX position. Submitting your compositing reel might not be a good way to get an FX job.
Yes. Our primary goals with this site are to make it not only functional, but also a very smooth overall experience for our end users. On top of our straight-forward design, we’ve prepared a few tutorials on how to get started with building your profile, uploading your resumé as well as some of the more advanced features.
We’re always updating the site, adding more features and addressing feedback from our users, and will release new videos as major updates are released, as well as retire videos that aren’t relevant anymore.
If you are a recruiter from a studio, please fill out the Employer Account Request Form. The reason we don’t allow everyone to create an Employer Account at signup, is that we have some very specific requirements about which Employers can post jobs on this site. This is to help maintain the integrity and simplicity of applying for jobs, consistent with our original vision.
Definitely. This is one of the major initiatives we have planned for the near future (once our soft launch is complete). We will be developing custom API’s, specific to certain studios and companies that will pull information from Artist profiles, and plug them into online Recruitment Systems, emails, or any other application method a company may prefer.
This allows us to maintain our ultimate objective, which is to offer artists a simple “one-click” application system. Our system can do amazing things behind the scenes without having an affect on the users experience (which is important to us).
